Linked databases in Notion are widely useful for viewing databases in various contexts, with alternative formats, filters, ordering and other perspectives. Unbeknownst to many users, you can create a linked database from another workspace. And with that linked database, you can customize new views.
- In the original database, copy the share link:
Share→Copy Page Link.
(So long as you can view it, it can be public or private.) - On the destination page (in another workspace), paste the share link:
cmd/ctrl + v. - Select
Create Linked Database.
