September 1, 2021 — Notion continuously releases subtle enhancements that may seem trivial, but collectively, they support a considerably more cohesive and gratifying user experience. That’s certainly the case with a few recent updates, including interactive properties and comment attachments.
URL Property: Click to Visit or Copy

With a database item opened as a page, the item’s properties display vertically beneath the title. Previously, clicking the value of a URL
property would provide a blinking cursor with which to edit the URL. Using the URL required you to copy the value and paste it into your browser.
Now, URL
properties function as hyperlinks: you can click the value to open the URL in your web browser. Hovering your cursor over the value—without clicking—prompts two buttons: one for copying the URL, the other for editing the property.
Email Property: Compose and Copy Buttons

While you can still click into an Email
property to edit it, you can hover over it for two convenient buttons: one to copy the email address, another to compose a new email with the address pre-populated.
Comment Attachments

When composing a comment, you now have the option to attach a file, such as a photo. In the example above, I recommend an alternative headshot.
